2015-11-13, I'm not sure i agree with you here, i've used one of my knives for lenrniag to throw and so far i've only dulled the tip. And thats with me lenrniag to throw it and bouncing it off concrete, blade and hilt. It sinks about a half inch into plywood which is further than i can stab easily without stabbing downwards.It is made of spring steel so is very unlikely to suffer from a fracture from throwing.
